Insurance Professionals

The Westchester Chapter is a proud co-sponsor of the New York State Bar Association's 2010 Law School for Insurance Professionals.  New York's most respected attorneys will provide insights and updates on the law affecting the evaluation of claims, legal procedures and their impact on the claims process, bad faith law in New York and the challenges of settling a civil lawsuit.  The program will also address policy defenses and common coverage issues concerning the homeowner's and commercial general liability policies including the amendment to New York Law § 3420 regarding legal notice.

The Westchester Chapter of CPCU and Westchester Community College have joined together to offer a great solution for meeting your firm's continuing education requirements.  We can now offer NY CE courses can be tailored to what you'd like to learn and we can offer them in your office, saving valuable time and money.  In addition, the cost is probably less than conventional CE courses for even a small group.   Topics range from Boiler & Machinery to Workers Compensation . . . Click on the "Education" tab on the left for a list of topics (see shared files).  If there is a topic that is not on the list, let us know-we can probably add it.  

The instructors will be qualified professionals who have presented these topics in the past. the cost for a four credit CE program for up to 10 people is $595; $20 for each additional participant; an 8 credit CE program would be $895 for up to 10 participants.
